How do I invite someone to my house?

Open House & profile and tap Share invite (or Copy and paste the link anywhere). The link works in any app, WhatsApp included. Only the person who created the house can invite people; other members see who can.

What does the other person need?

An iPhone with Sproutmates and their own iCloud account (signed in on that iPhone). Everyone in the house needs an iPhone. They open your link, tap Open the invite, and Sproutmates shows the house to join.

Someone joined who shouldn’t have

As the house’s creator, open House & profile → Members, swipe left on them (or touch and hold) and tap Remove. They can’t join again with the link unless you tap Let back in.

How do reminders work?

You get one reminder a day, at the time you choose in House & profile → Daily reminder, listing only the plants that still need water. When someone else waters a plant, it drops out of your reminder.

I’m going away

Turn on I’m away in House & profile. You get no reminders, and your house sees that you’re away.

Purchases and Sproutmates Plus

Free: 1 house you create, 5 plants per house, every core feature. Joining a house is always free. Sproutmates Plus unlocks unlimited plants, more houses and every theme and pot. One subscription covers the whole house: if anyone in it has Plus, everyone gets it.

Bought something on another iPhone, or reinstalled the app? Open the Shop tab and tap Restore purchases.

How do I cancel Plus?

In the Shop tab tap Manage subscription, or open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

How do I delete my data?

Leave a shared house in House & profile; your past waterings stay in its history under your name, marked “former member”. A house you live in alone can be deleted there too (Delete house), which removes it from iCloud. The app keeps a safety copy of a house you leave or delete on your iPhone until you delete the app, which removes everything on your iPhone. See the privacy policy for details.
